The standard metals are brass, copper and nickel. Custom headbadges can also incorporate sterling silver or 14k gold accents.

Yes! Once the headbadge is exposed to the elements via your various cycling adventures, you will see that it will take on a darker patina. Also, the green oxidation will become more subdued. It can’t be helped, it’s science! Think of it like a fine wine, it only gets better with age :)

Every headbadge will arrive with a thick, 3M double-sided tape already adhered to the back side. For information on how to remove an existing headbadge, as well as how to adhere your new one, click here.

To measure the diameter of your head tube, calipers are your best bet followed by a soft measuring tape. Your bike manufacturer may also have that information on their website. If your head tube measures between 1.3”-1.5”, choose the Medium option from the dropdown menu when checking out. If it measures between 1.6”-2”, choose the Large option. If it’s larger than 2”, what the heck kind of bike is this? If you have any questions at all, reach out here!

Because they are made by hand, there may be slight variations here and there with your headbadge. Don’t worry, nothing drastic :)
